Is it possible to rearrange your birth control pills to interrupt a pending pregnancy?
I am a very curious person and have been researching birth control and the effects it has on the body and pregnancy. One thing I cannot find, however, is if slightly rearranging the pills so that you are taking the sugar pills during the time-frame given for implantation would prevent a pending pregnancy from taking place. It makes sense to me, since the hormone pills would cause the uterine lining to swell with a rich blood supply and the sugar pills would cause you to shed that lining. If there is no blood-rich uterine wall for the fertilized egg to burrow itself into, would you not shed the fertilized egg, too? It seems that this would be possible, especially if a person realized that pregnancy was a viable option due to silly choices towards the end of the hormone pill pack. any thoughts or personal experience?
